BTIG Research’s Rich Greenfield today reiterates a positive view on Internet gaming operation Zynga (ZNGA), and advises investors take a look at a video from way back in October of 2009 in which founder and CEO Mark Pincus explains what sets the company apart.
Greenfield made an appearance on CNBC to discuss his positive outlook on the stock.
Among the things that Greenfield picks out are Pincus’s comments in the video are the principle of something called “ghetto testing,” a kind of skunkworks for game development. Greenfield summarizes ghetto testing as “essentially empowering employees, especially game designers to build the games of their dreams. How would you market your idea in five words, then put a link up for fiveminutesonline to do a survey. You instantly get a sense of the heat around the idea.”
Shares of Zynga are up 41 cents, or 4%, at $10.46.
