Dow Jones Newswires’s Joseph Checkler this afternoon offers a write-up of the SEC filings of stock ownership by hedge fund operator John Paulson’s Paulson & Co.
Seems Paulson held onto Citigroup (C), Wells Fargo (WFC), and JP Morgan Chase (JPM), and Fifth Third Bancorp (FITB) since his firm’s last filing following Q4.
Paulson also added 4.4 million shares of small business lender CIT Group (CIT), and maintained his 31.5 million shares of the SPDR Gold Trust exchange-traded fund (GLD).
Briefing.com notes that Paulson increased the firm’s stake in Bank of America (BAC) to 167 million shares from 151 million.
