Enterprise software vendor VMWare (VMW) this afternoon reported Q3 revenue and earnings per share ahead of analysts’ estimates.
Revenue in the three months ended in September rose 32% to $941.9 million, yielding EPS of 53 cents a share, excluding some costs.
Analysts had been modeling $929.4 million and 50 cents a share.
CFO Mark Peek said the company saw growth “across all products,” and that demand “was especially strong in the Asia-Pacific markets and we also experienced the seasonal impact of sales to the U.S. Federal Government.”
For Q4, the company sees revenue in a range of $1.03 billion to $1.06 billion, ahead of the average $1.032 billion estimate.
