Shares of Rackspace Hosting (RAX) are up $2.57, or over 5%, at $51.80 in late trading after the company reported Q4 revenue and profit ahead of consensus.
Revenue in the three months ended in December rose 32%, year over year, and 7%, quarter to quarter, to $283 million, yielding EPS of 18 cents a share.
Analysts had been expecting $281 million and 15 cents a share.
CFO Karl Pichler said the company was “pleased” with the results and that the year “ended really strong.”
